I am a PhD student studying Old Testament with Peter J. Gentry at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. At Highlands Latin School I teach Greek 1, 2, & 3, Logic, and Rhetoric. For Memoria Press Online Academy I teach Greek 1 & 2, and at the HLS cottage school I teach first year Henle Latin. On Saturday's I work as a Research Expert at the James P. Boyce Centennial Library, where I help students of SBTS and Boyce College with whatever research related needs they have — e.g., word processing, biblical languages, information literacy. I have been the Director of Digital Production for The Marginalia Review of Books since the site first launched.

My research interests include Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek grammar, but the focus of my studies is textual criticism and the Greek translations of the Hebrew Bible.

School and work aside, I have two children — Beau and Ever Noelle — and a lovely wife named Leslie. We are members of Sojourn Community Church.

I created this blog as a way of collecting and sharing random biblical studies related things that I find interesting.
