Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly. He does not stand in the way of sinners, and he does not sit upon the seat of corrupt men.
No, his desire is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he will meditate day and night.
He will be like a tree planted by streams of water — a tree that will produce its fruit in its season, and its leaves will not fall away. Whatever he does will be successful.
Not so for the ungodly, not so.
No, they will be like dust that the wind drives away from the face of the land. Therefore the ungodly will not stand acquitted in the judgment, nor sinners in the council of the righteous.
Because the Lord knows the way of the righteous, and the way of the ungodly will perish.
