These are my favorite albums to play while working from home:
- Explosions in the Sky, How Strange, Innocence and The Wilderness
- Pink Floyd, Darkside of the Moon
- World Harmonic, Chant: The Best of Gregorian Chant
I play at least a few of these every day, too:
- Avett Brothers. I don’t even know where to start. Apple Next Steps Playlist, Apple Essentials, True Sadness, Emotionalism, I and Love and You, The Carpenter, Closer than Together — I could keep going. I usually just say, “Hey, Siri. Play the Avett Brothers.”
- Fernando Ortega, The Crucifixion of Jesus and Hymns of Worship
- Jason Isbell, Something More than Free and Southeastern
- Jack Johnson, Apple Essentials
- Michael Kiwanuka, Kiwanuka — I usually hang with Kiwanuka at the very end of the day and then fall asleep to this album starting at number 5.
- Miles Davis, Kind of Blue
- Red Hot Chili Peppers, Apple Essentials — Again, I usually just say, “Hey Siri. Play the Chili Peppers.”
