Blessed is the man who has not walked in the counsel of the ungodly. In the way of sinners he didn’t stand, and in the seat of thugs he didn’t sit.
Instead, in the law of the Lord is where his desire is found, and in the law of the Lord his thoughts wander day and night.
And he will be like a tree planted by springs of water, one that produces its fruit in season and does not lose its leaves. And whatever he does will prosper.

Not so for the ungodly, not so.
Instead, they are like dust that the wind carries from the face of the earth.
For this reason the ungodly will not stand in judgment, nor sinners in the concil of the righteous.

You see, the Lord knows the way of the righteous, and the way of sinners will end in ruin.
